The National Rural Network (member of ENRD) is created at national level, in the framework of the Rural Development Regulation. It provides an important link at Member State level between the national administrations, organisations, and the Local Action Groups. Its main role is to support the implementation and evaluation of rural development policy but it also brings together a variety of rural stakeholders, to ensure a good level of communication both at regional, national and European level.

The NRDN objectives for the 2014-2020 programming period are:

• Involving the public and rural community in accessing and implementing the National Rural Development Program (NRDP),

• Improving the access of European funds through NRDP,

• Involving the public in the National Rural Development Network (NRDN) 2014-2020,
