The National Rural Network (member of ENRD) is created at national level, in the framework of the Rural Development Regulation. It provides an important link at Member State level between the national administrations, organisations, and the Local Action Groups. Its main role is to support the implementation and evaluation of rural development policy but it also brings together a variety of rural stakeholders, to ensure a good level of communication both at regional, national and European level.
The NRDN objectives for the 2014-2020 programming period are:
