National Forest Company is a company limited by guarantee which leads the creation of a new, wooded landscape for the nation (called National Forest) across 500 square kilometres of central England.

Activities:

  • Attracts and uses resources for woodland creation that is sensitive to the landscape and environment

  • Enhances wildlife and biodiversity

  • Provides the setting for new businesses, recreation, tourism and an improved quality of life

  • Promotes the widest possible participation in and enjoyment of the Forest

  • Contribute to economic regeneration of the region

  • In all this, acts as a ‘champion’ of the area and a catalyst for the activity of many partners

  • Promotes at international, national and local levels the experience and knowledge emerging from this inspiring and ambitious project.
