Abstract:
This Spanish inventory of traditional knowledge related to biodiversity is the result of the work led since 2011, by an interdisciplinary team researchers working in collaboration with civil society organisations.
Four inventory books have been published so far, which document the use of wild and cultivated biodiversity as well as the management of a some ecosystems.
This compilation of traditional knowledge, focuses mainly on medicinal uses but there are also references to human food, animal food, rituals and other uses (buildings, ornament).
