Abstract:
« This report was part of the « Future in the Alps » project, whose objective was to collect and systematise the experiences and know-how available throughout the Alps and make it available to those who need it. The aim of addressing the specific question of« Decision-making » was:
• To raise awareness towards the potentials, advantages and risks of public participation and new ways of decision making
• To contribute to a change of behaviour and to an increasing number of projects and other activities using public participation and new ways of decision making. »
