Abstract:
« This report presents the findings of a European-wide review and five country studies (Slovenia, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, France and Sweden) carried out to assess and analyse sources of conflict and the strategies that have been developed to resolve them.
It is part of a European Commission commissioned a project entitled “Dealing with Conflicts in the Implementation and Management of the Natura 2000 Network - Best Practice at the Local / Site Level”. The project reviews the experiences of the Member States in multiple-use, participatory management planning and conflict management relative to Natura 2000 sites. »
